19th Century Brass & Ceramic Moderator Lamp — Electrified

Description

An elegant 19th century moderator oil lamp, beautifully crafted from fine ceramic and detailed with hand-painted floral motifs, complemented by an ornate brass mount and base. This piece has been carefully converted to electricity, preserving its original structure and historical integrity.

Electrified from the top—a hallmark of well-preserved examples—the lamp retains its original internal oil reservoir, a rare feature that reflects both its authenticity and age. The richly patinated brass burner and fittings further enhance its period character.

A refined decorative piece that blends 19th century innovation with modern functionality—ideal for collectors and sophisticated interiors.
